Tsunami: The Day the Wave Struck

Wednesday 26^th January, 8pm

Channel 5

As a tribute to the victims, it will not contain any ad breaks.

It will feature Jake Zarins and Nick Keegan talking in London and then Jake in Unawatuna.

It will also be showing the experiences of other tourists throughout Asia.

Mentorn, the production company paid Friends Of Unawatuna £3,000 for Jake and Nick to talk. Nick has also licensed them some images for £200. Channel 5 has put a link from their website to www.friendsofunawatuna.org.uk and efforts are being made to get the organisation plugged after the program.

For non-UK viewers, the National Geographic Channel has also purchased the content and will be broadcasting it globally sometime this year.
